REMINDER (Spanish) May 10, 2006 Dear Parents, Please talk to your child before school every day regarding after school arrangements. We have been having a large number of students coming in to the office after school to use the telephone because they are not sure who is picking them up or what they are supposed to do after school. The office telephone is for emergency use only. In addition, the office is inundated with phone calls at the end of the day from parents asking us to get a message to their child regarding after school arrangements. We cannot be responsible for relaying these messages to students. Also, there are NO cell phones allowed on the school grounds. Cell phones have become a huge problem. There have been numerous complaints about interruptions during instructional time, and students have reported them lost. We cannot be responsible for cell phones. Thank you for your cooperation. Estimados Padres, Por favor hable con su hijo/a antes de venir a la escuela sobre los arreglos necesarios que deben tomar ellos después de escuela. Hemos tenido una cantidad grande de alumnos en la oficina pediendo usar el teléfono. Por la razón, que no saben quien los va recoger después de escuela o no saben lo que deben de hacer después de escuela. El uso del teléfono de la oficina es solamente para emergencias. La oficina recibe muchas llamadas antes que los alumnos sean despedidos de sus clases. De padres que quieren dejar un mensaje con su hijo/a. Padres por favor hagan los arreglos necesarios antes de venir a la escuela. Nosotros no somos responsables en dar esto mensajes. Como también no se permite traer teléfonos celulares a la escuela. Los teléfonos celulares se han convertido en un gran problema. Han interrumpido el tiempo de instrucción durante la clase. Muchos alumnos han reportado los celulares perdidos.
